This iPod repair can however be solved easily if you remember a few tips while or before using the iPod for the first time in life. Firstly, the iPod must be plugged in properly. For this purpose, a highly potent or USB 2.0 port or FireWire port should be used. Another notable point is that the iPod should be connected to only one FireWire port. This would help the gadget to receive enough supply of power from the FireWire port. Moreover the electronic devices sometimes get locked. This is a very common iPod repair service problem.
However setting the system of the gadget once again can solve this problem. This can be done with the help of two buttons namely, Menu and Play. These two buttons must be jointly pressed at a time. But this method is applicable only to the iPod belonging to any of the First three generations of the gadget. Incase the iPod belong to the fourth generation then similar procedure must be applied but with play and select buttons. Again, the system has to be started up once more, if it contains Mac Platform. Here also the same procedure has to be repeated by using the shift key. If the iPod having problem and if it responses well against this process, then its problem would definitely come to an end. If the problem still remains, the system must be put into the Disk mode.
