Blue Screen Troubleshooting - The Blue screen of death!

No one wants to see the blue screen of death on their computer. This is the screen that comes up when your computer has crashed. There are various messages that can come up on this screen, such as those about fatal exceptions. For a person whose life is dependent on computers, the blue screen of death can have a very literal meaning.

You can avoid this situation though. Make sure that your computer is never overworked beyond its resources. Always note what kind of RAM you have and do not attempt to use applications that require a higher RAM, such as games. Even using high-end graphical applications on your computer if the video card does not support it can be the cause of a blue screen of death.

Another reason is that your computer may be getting overheated. The fan device needs to be checked.

If you have been running too many software applications on your computer at once, a low configuration computer is likely to crash. As mentioned before, always be aware of the limitations of your computer.

But the most prominent reason is errors in the registry. Windows has a temporary location for all the applications it uses. This is known as the registry. This is where it takes the files that are needed to launch applications. But various things, such as improperly uninstalled programs can cause errors in the registry. If the errors become too many, you may get a blue screen of death soon. It is highly recommended to install and use a good registry cleaning software application from time to time to keep your computer absolutely clean.
